When weather and wind permit, flounder fishing has been good. Wind has stirred up the bottom and made it a little muddy.
Rockfish and black drum have also shown up outside the inlet.

Winners of the 22nd Annual Capt. Zeds Spring Flounder Tournament:
1st Place- David Phares- 6lb 4oz.- 25in. from VA
2nd Place- John Rupp- 6lb 3oz- 24in. from DE
3rd Place- Jim Shuty- 6lb 2oz- 25in. from VA
4th Place- Charles Crouse- 5lb 12oz- 24 1/2in from PA
5th Place- Clarence Sears- 5lb. 11oz.- 25 1/4in from DE
Flounder fishing has been good. Last day of weather was not good, but overall
the weather was good for the Tournament.

Tournament results as of 8pm Thursday night:
1st Place 6lb 4oz- 25in- David Phares from VA
2nd Place 6lb 2oz- 25in -Jim Shuty from VA
3rd Plalce 5lb 12oz. 24 1/2in- Charles Crouse from PA
4th Place 5lb 8oz. 241/2in- Jack Shultz from VA
5th Place 5lb 8oz. 241/2in- Woody Malone from MD
Fishing has been great!
Best areas to fish are Green and Drawing Channel, Bullshead and the
Hummocks.
We are still looking to weigh in that citation 7lb flounder.

Flounder Tournament going great ! Weather warm with some wind, but
fishermen are catching some nice fish.
1st Place-6lb 4oz. 25in. David Phares from VA
2nd Place- 6lb 2oz. 25in. Jim Shuty from VA
3rd Place- 5lb 8oz. 24 1/2in. Jack Schultz from VA
4th Place- 5lb 8oz. 24 1/2in. Woody Malone from MD
5th Place- 5lb 7oz. 24in. Bruce Silar from PA
7lb flounder weighed in on Monday 4/16 but not in tournament.
Will keep you updated as more fish come in.

The 22nd Annual Capt. Zed's Spring Flounder tournament starts Friday, April
13th.
1st place- $2000.00
2nd place- $600.00
3rd place- $300.00
4th place- $250.00 Gift Cert. Wachapreague Inn
5th place- $100.00 Gift Cert. to Capt. Zed's Bait & Tackle
Last day to enter is April 12th.
Flounder fishing has been awesome. Fishermen are coming in with some nice
